fede: shortly tell fe-de bout your isis character en how you came up with the character?
ISIS: The name was given to me by Solomzi, ex manager of Riot Records, a while back, I was still very new into universal globe of music. He gave me the name because of what it represented and still represents* In historical terms, Isis was a GODDESS in Ancient Egyptian times. She was seen as the pilar of things that symbolize natural world and the world beyond of the MAGICAL* i later grew into that PERSON and became reborn once again to Miss [isis]* She IS the beggining and thats what Im about. She speaks simplicity with ease and that the TYPE of individual I am when it comes to Me and Miss [isis]* with regards to music:

fede: 'bout the track 'congratulations" who's on the beat en how did ISIS give birth to the track?
ISIS: ahhh* Congradulations.. I was home pondering on concepts on the other album Im working on - "CARTOON BACKGROUND" -. It is sort of like a mixtape, but only with my production on it - well ofcourse including other producers where needed. I hadn't made a beat for quite sometime. While browsing through some SOUTH AFRICAN JAZZ locals, i came across this sample. The claps on it drove me insane so I began messing around with the sound and the texture before the lyrics were put on it.
Congradulations was created* The recording was done at my studio. Recorded and mixed by me. Funny enough, the one in circulation is not completely the correct one, but LEAKS are leaks.. There is a remix out that is about to hit circulation soon featuring Qba and other collabo's as well.*
fede: ayt…when's the collabo with QBA dropping…is fedehoezit having the exclusive?
ISIS: ohhhhh WEEE* Qba, my sista in this music clique. yeah yeah.. um watch this space comrade. Miss [isis]* undoubtedly is going to put you on this one. So far, we are just working out the technical part of things - making sure everything is within its balance, but It should be ready, out of the stove, blazing H.O.T.T. in a few weeks. You know collabo's take a little while longer. I definitely had to get Qba to bless and put some FIRE on top of the flame*. Its to real, yeah?*
fede: talking bout collabo's…a little bird asked i n i when's the collabo with Ra(i) blaster coming through? [ra(i) blaster is also known as FIFI]
ISIS: Ra(i), Ra(i), Ra(i) BLASTER* You can tell the little birds to keep chirping. That one is a little secret* (just pulling ur ears :D) but yeah. For this collaboration, Im looking for something very abstract in order for both individuals to express themselves CLEARLY in their unique forms. We do not want to be associated as the SAME - thought wise but similar - musically. We all one big family in this music biz and Ra(i) is my sister, so yeah, FAMILY first. This NEW sound thats going to come through with a couple of tracks with her, is going to take a few steps forward to the unknown. For those who didn't know. THEY about to find out.
